That is the biggest thought I can handle right now. Then I can go to the doctor, and get more xanax, and will be able to deal with everything better. I hate switching meds...for weeks it just sucks. They say "be patient", which is all well and good, but deadlines don't stop just because my brain won't work. :-( Everything is blahville.

Tue, October 27, 2009 - 2:48 PMHey, Rachel!
The good news is that you are saying "making it through the WEEK"! That's great. Sometimes it's make it through the day, the hour - or the next 10 minutes,
Hang in there, girl! You've got what it takes.
How do I know? Trust me, I KNOW!!!

Tue, October 27, 2009 - 5:30 PMThank you. :-) It's so nice that there are others who understand. I agree, sometimes 10 minutes is a win in itself.

Re: Making it through the week
Tue, October 27, 2009 - 11:29 PMThe med "experimentation" is a journey that
is, at best, obscenely difficult.
Most anti-depressants take weeks to begin working;
other meds may have awful side effects, which don't always
appear immediately...
it's a no fun experience, no mater how you slice it.
I'm working on getting off seroquel myself, and trying to find an alternate
med is again, proving to be an adventure.
I know from experience, Rachel, that you will make it through
and things will eventually be brighter.
Sounds like you're more than halfway there!

Re: Making it through the week
Wed, October 28, 2009 - 2:54 PMThank you, Ray...you seem like a very supportive person. Today has been better, I think my brain is adjusting finally.
I highly suspect I actually have borderline II, but the hypomanic episodes are kind of undiagnosable so I will probably never know for sure. The depression is 95% of my issues, in terms of disrupting life, so I'm glad at least I can get help with that.
