Welcome to the Depression tribe.
If you are currently in crisis and/or are in danger of harming yourself or others, please dial 911 or go immediately to the nearest emergency room or hospital. Call someone to accompany you. It is imperative that you do not act on these destructive impulses and get help immediately. If you are not in danger of harming yourself or others, there are crisis hotlines, both national and international listed at the bottom of this page.
GET HELP because YOU MATTER.
If you are seeking a community of those living with depression and its ramifications, you are most welcome to join in the conversation. Be aware, however, that we are a group of depression sufferers, NOT doctors nor therapists, so we are not giving medical advice here, merely sharing what works for us and what MIGHT work for you.
We ask that you are polite, even when you disagree with someone – remember, we all have sensitive feelings and we all share the “black dog” of depression. You are welcome here. If you are a troll or someone with a red-hot agenda, please pass this tribe over. We have enough to deal with.
